About Jonathan Perry

Should I talk in third person? OK. Jonathan Perry is a slightly repressed WASP single guy in his 30s who’s lived in Lincoln, Nebraska since college. He just bought a house after a decade in a bad apartment and has written 3 books (all unpublished), the 1st of which is a satire called The Gentle Art of Starting A Cult: A Do-It-Yourself Guide. (He doesn’t really want to start a cult, if he can help it, but don’t push him.) There are maybe 4 other books in the works, but he’s easily distracted.

Not having achieved Domesticated Bachelor status, this blog serves as something of a personal self-help guide for Jonathan, though he also means to inflict it upon others. The Domesticated Bachelor is an online humor & lifestyle publication designed to help single men be more awesome when they discover how sad their lives are. It’s a guide for those who want to live their lives to the fullest as they take your dinner order. Style, relationships, culture, cuisine, bachelor pads. Goats. These are words.
